Most Orders Ship UPS or USPS
Flat rate $10.95 shipping options are shipped UPS Ground, UPS SurePost or USPS Priority Mail for product orders from our Amana Meat Shop & Smokehouse, Amana General Store, Amana Woolen Mill and smaller items from the Amana Furniture Shop to the contiguous United States. Hawaii and Alaska addresses are not eligible for flat rate. A few medium-sized Amana Furniture Shop items ship at a UPS Flat Rate of $15-$35. Flat rate may not be available for military addresses. Truck Freight - Curbside (ABF Freight)
Many items from our Amana Furniture Shop are too large or too heavy to ship using a small parcel carrier. Therefore, our best option is to ship it to you using a common carrier. The items that require a common carrier will be noted in the checkout process and will list ABF Freight as the only shipping option. These items will be packaged in boxing, foam packing or a wooden crate depending on what is best for the particular item. Truck freight is different than standard UPS or USPS in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going). Truck Freight also differs from Small Parcel in that, for residential deliveries, you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-6 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you must inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage (look for ANY marks such as scuffs, punctures, or cracks), or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services such as bringing the item into your home, uncrating the item or disposing of the packing materials. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services. Food items SHIPPED to Illinois residents will include a 1% sales tax. All non-food items SHIPPED to Illinois will include a 6.25% sales tax. Non-food items SHIPPED to Minnesota will include a 6.875% sales tax. Non-food items SHIPPED to Iowa will be charged the appropriate city or county sales tax (6%-7%).

What If My Order Is Not What I Expected?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us by phone at 1-800-373-6328 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. We will refund the cost of any item that is returned within 30 days of delivery and is returned in original packaging and in re-sellable condition. AmanaShops.com will not refund shipping charges for orders which were properly delivered. No refund will be issued for an order in which the person who ordered provided an incorrect shipping address. Items must be returned freight prepaid.
What If My Order Arrives Damaged?
Our products are well-packaged to withstand travel during shipment. We double-box many items to ensure safe arrival. If an item looks damaged or parts are missing, please notify us immediately. We will make every effort to help you obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you. If your Furniture Shop order is shipping by Truck Freight (ABF) or White Glove, please note the important instructions below.
If Shipped via Truck Freight or White Glove:
- Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of the package. The damaged package will be returned to us and we will send you a new one. If you refuse delivery, please notify us so that we can expect the return shipment.
- If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us right away and we will ship you the replacement parts free of charge. Speed matters since most carriers only let us file freight claims within 48 hours of delivery. If we cannot replace the parts, we will have the carrier pick up the package and we will send you a replacement. All returned products should be in the original packaging.
Our goal is to make buying online easy, safe and efficient.
If you decide you do not want part or entire order replacement, the item can be returned under our standard return policy. If a product arrives damaged, or we made an error, and it cannot be remedied with either a full replacement or replacement in part, we will pay to return the item to us.
If the problem with your item is due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire order. We stand behind our products. If you are having an issue, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve it.
